When planning meals, check the store promotions for seasonal items at a good price and buy fruits and vegetables with vibrant colors.
Select a healthy, single-serving snack – try fruit or nuts – and carry it with you.
Pick one food or beverage that you sweeten and reduce the sweetener or try removing it altogether.
Use smaller plates, glasses and mugs to help you with smaller portion sizes.
Encourage people when you see them making a good decision at home or work.
